I was asked to create graphics to supplement the Rangers 2021-2022 Schedule Release Video. With this, I needed to template motion graphics that would display the teams, dates, and locations for each game. Since this information wasn't available until the schedule was released, we had about an hour to plug in the information and send it to the video team for final export.
At one point, we realized that the footage has used "vs." for all the games, which didn't seem like an issue at first, but then we realized that there is no specification if a game is home or away. Because of this, the graphics now needed to make this clarification. As a team, we decided that the simplest way to do this was to simply add an "@" followed by the opposing team's logo and the stadium where the game would occur.
With the creative directors, copywriters, video producers, and designers all on a Zoom call, I was in charge of editing and making sure each section of the video had it's designated graphic with the correct information displayed. In an hour, the final versions had been exported and posted on to the Rangers social accounts, ready to share with fans everywhere.
